Vandana Shiva has been called Monsanto’s worst nightmare. This film tells her remarkable story – how she stood up to the corporate goliaths of industrial agriculture, rose to prominence in the food justice movement and inspired an international crusade for change.

By profiling Dr Shiva, the film looks at the epic struggle over who controls the world’s food systems, and asks the question, who will prevail? Today, industrial food accounts for up to 40% of carbon emissions, pesticides destroy soils, water systems and biodiversity, and harm human health, while more than two billion people face food insecurity across the globe.
